About the Role:
As our administrative assistant, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our sail loft. From answering phones and managing schedules to sending invoices and maintaining our financial records, you'll be the backbone of our administrative processes. With your support, we'll continue to provide our customers with the outstanding service they've come to expect from us.
Key Responsibilities:
Answering phone calls and emails, and providing excellent customer service
Organizing and managing our schedule to ensure timely completion of projects
Sending invoices and following up on payments
Assisting with bookkeeping and maintaining accurate financial records
Performing general administrative tasks to support the team as needed
Requirements:
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Suite)
Previous experience in administrative roles is preferred but not required
Passion or interest for sailing and willingness to learn about our products and services
Location & Schedule:
Our sail loft is conveniently located in San Diego. This is a part-time position, with hours ranging from 20 to 30 hours per week with the potential for increased hours with growth. The ideal candidate would start at 9:00 AM and work a schedule based on our needs.
Compensation:
We offer competitive compensation ranging from $20.00-$23.00 per hour, along with opportunities for growth and advancement within our organization.
