We run a nonprofit farm animal sanctuary in Encinitas. Our three pillars are animals, plants and education. We are small farm with a big vision. First thing is that we rescue farm animals and are opposed to factory farming and pollution. Regenerative agriculture is the solution along with a plant based lifestyle. Lastly, we educate youth in order to impact the next generation with positive change.
We are looking for labor work on landscape, food forest and garden work.
Types of Work: Managing fruit trees and food forest. Integrating a diversity of edible plants into the property. Weeding, digging trenches, building fences, planting trees, planting gardens, picking food, processing food and designing planting plans, water catchment and composting.
4 hours a week minimum. Plus additional hours for projects as they come up.
Pay: $20 per hour.
Must have permaculture or edible landscape experience.
