Are you an experienced S/R Clerk with a passion for excellence? Jensen Meat Company is seeking a qualified S/R Clerk to join our dynamic team.

Minimum qualification requirements

Education: High School Graduate. Training and support to all policies including SQF.

Experience: 1 to 2 years’ experience in Shipping & Receiving.

Contact responsibility.

Internal: Managers, Supervisors, Office Staff, and Production Employees.

External: UPS Drivers, Fed-X Drivers, Common Carriers, and LTL Drivers.

Shipping & Receiving equipment service contractors.

Physical requirements

Able to lift 60lbs. Walk, bend and climb. Operate Shipping & Receiving equipment: Electric Forklifts and pallet jacks. Flexible work schedules a required.

Environmental conditions

Able to work in a cold environment (0° to 40°). Slippery floors, and a fast pace noisy Shipping & Receiving dock area.

Detailed duties and responsibilities – essential functions

1.Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for correct product and quantity.

2.Operate Shipping & Receiving Equipment.

3.Adhere to Shipping & Receiving Procedures.

4.Comply with GMP’s and in House Programs.

5.General housekeeping of shipping & receiving areas (floors swept and clean of debris).

6.Writing of product pulled for orders on shipping record.

7 Conduct and record temperatures of incoming and outgoing product as required.

8.Document any discrepancies on shipping and receiving manifest. (Notify Driver and Supervisor).

9.Document received and shipped pallet quantities on manifest.

10.Notify Supervisor of any shipping & receiving equipment in need of repairs or

safety issues or concerns.

11.Write out hold tags and place on product for any damaged or exposed product.

12.Work in both shipping & receiving areas if necessary.

13.Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for broken pallets.

14.Fill out Return Product Log.

15.Monitor and change out batteries on shipping & receiving equipment as needed.

16.Organization and maintain shipping & receiving areas.

17.Repair of pallets if required.

1. Responsibility to report food safety and food quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
