Quality Control Technician

Our reputation is built on the superior care we take in providing high precision, cosmetically beautiful, machined parts. Stigtec MFG is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable individual to join our team as a Quality Control Technician.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of incoming and outgoing materials, in-process QC inspections and final inspections.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Incoming Quality Control (IQC): Inspect and verify the quality of materials, parts, and products received from suppliers.

Outgoing Quality Control (OQC): Ensure that all outgoing products meet company and customer quality standards before shipment.

Conduct regular inspections of products and processes during various stages of production to ensure they meet established quality standards

Verify measurements, tolerances, and specifications of parts using appropriate testing equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).CMM is a plus!

Monitor and check for non-conformities and immediately report issues to supervisor.

Ensure compliance with internal quality policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.

Regularly perform preventive maintenance on calibration equipment to ensure longevity and accuracy.

Ensure that all calibrated equipment is functioning within the required accuracy and precision ranges.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Prior experience in in-process quality inspection or quality control in a manufacturing environment.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

ISO9001 environment experience is a plus

Typical work hours are 6:45 am - 3:15 pm (Monday - Friday) with overtime as needed
