Outstanding high tech manufacturing company has an immediate need for an experienced Material Handler.
SUMMARY: Receives, stores, and distributes material, equipment and products within establishment by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
Works within company guidelines and policies to assure warehouse functions are consistent with procedures, as defined for this level, after being trained.
Weighs or counts items for receiving and distribution to multiple manufacturing plants in San Diego.
Fills requisitions, work orders, or issues material for distribution to assembly lines using both manual and computerized programs.
Packs finished goods and materials for shipment to customer locations using various freight carrier methods and systems
Receives material components and assemblies from suppliers to support manufacturing, engineering and customer service operations.
Performs other related duties as needed or assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 2 year material control experience
High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or one to three months related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Excellent reading, writing and math skills.
Good communications skills
Strong computer skills
Ability to meet deadlines
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
Hours are 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday-Friday (with overtime as needed)
