Electronic assembly Tech
Compensation: $25 per hour

Work for a small electronics manufacturer in North County. We promote an enjoyable working environment with a friendly culture. We are actively seeking a Electronic Assembly Tech to join our successful team! This position provides many opportunities for growth and reports directly to the Chief Engineer.
Essential Functions:
1. Repair, test and assembly of electronic circuit boards including thru hole and surface mount.
2. Testing and calibrating electronic items using scopes, DVM's and signal generators.
3. Assembling sensor cables including soldering of small wires to small pins.
4. Taking inventory of customer kits, including simple testing of cables and sensors. Filling out inventory forms.
5. Assist with shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, stocking products. Learning to back up shipping clerk computer functions
6. Pulling kits of parts for low volume production.
7. Warm friendly attitude. Desire to be helpful. Get along with others.
Qualifications:
- Must be self-motivated and take initiative
- Ability to work towards a goal with others
- Excellent communication skills, reading, writing and verbal.
- Basic math skills. Counting, adding, subtracting.
- Outstanding attention to detail
Work Environment
This position works in a electronic lab setting with some warehouse work.
Preferred Education and Experience: Some electronic assembly experience required.
