Highly Experienced CNC Machinist. Vertical Mill & Lathe skills a must, we also have a CNC Laser. Fully familiar with FANUC controls. Master Cam Expert but prefer CAMWORKS/SOLIDWORKS. Older equipment - good machine troubleshooting skills. Steel, Aluminum, Stainless, Plastics. Few exotics or impossible parts. Mostly simple parts fast. Low time to first part. Resourceful set-up and fixture skills. Occasional full 3-axis and 4th axis parts. DNC expert. Full charge of jobs - make parts not excuses. Very small shop. Low production - a few dozen - a few hundred with lots of one-off fixtures and R&D parts. Fastener expertise is a plus - we are also a fastener testing laboratory. Welding & Fabricating skills a plus but not necessary. Must be addiction free- no drama. Reliable 40 hrs./week but flexible. Must be in good physical shape as would be needed in a fast-paced machine shop. Shop helpers on staff so you can focus on programming, setting-up and improving parts. Resume preferred, but need some form of written job experience, skill set and references.
