POSITION: Bread Bakers
HIRING PAY RANGE: $18 - $18.50 DOE
DAYS: TBD weekend availability required
STATUS: Full Time
AVAILABLE SHIFTS: AM and PM, see below.
1) AM shift Bread Baker 10:00 am - 6:30 pm
(with one day a week starting between 8 am and 9 am)
Must be available to work anytime between 8 am - 7 pm
2) PM shift Bread Baker (required availability 1 pm – 12:30 am)
PM Shift start times range between 1 pm - 4 pm
We are a large scale production bakery looking for dependable, enthusiastic, well-rounded individuals to add to our team! With an emphasis on product quality our bakers are responsible for preparing all bread products for wholesale, from scratch, daily. Depending on departmental needs, the bread baker will focus on one or several of the following each day: Rheon station, ovens, mixing station, preparation, roll station, etc. Must be hard-working and have a sense of urgency when completing tasks. Essential to be a team player, to be dedicated to the company for the long-term, and to personally reflect the company’s standards of high quality.
Located between the Tecolote and Old Town Trolley stops, getting here is easy!
We are open 364 days a year, weekend and holiday availability are required.

REQUIREMENTS:
· Experience baking bread from scratch is preferred.
· Food production experience with an emphasis on large scale production is preferred.
· Awareness that product quality is the primary focus.
· Have a good sense of time management and attention to detail.
· Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication skills.
· Must be a cooperative, considerate team member.
· Possesses an enthusiastic, polite, and friendly demeanor.
· Ability to demonstrate flexibility and team spiritedness by willingness to perform all “as needed” tasks throughout production and to assist in all special projects.
· Able to positively accept constructive critique.
· Must be trainable in operating various types of equipment safely to perform job duties.
· MUST be able to work weekends and holidays.
· Willingness to work overtime is helpful.
· Bilingual is a plus but not required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS:
· Must be able to stand and/or walk for an entire shift.
· Must have sufficient strength to perform duties and responsibilities of the position including moderate to heavy lifting of 50 + pounds regularly throughout shift along with ability to push and pull up to 100 pounds.
· Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
· Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
· Ability to use tools and equipment, including knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.
· Exposure to high temperatures (working around ovens) as well as moderate temperatures (proofers).
