Project Manager for Digitizing, Book, Movie and Website Production
YourLegacyYourStory is a story-telling company that helps families, companies and organizations digitize, protect, restore, and share treasured memories with loved ones for generations to come by transferring photos, movies, documents and more into digital formats for family and business. After everything is digital, we publish family history books, make ancestry documentaries, narrate old 8mm film and much more!
Your job would be to review projects from customers, support your team members during production and prepare it for delivery to your customer. You will manage the process with the help of a high-quality team of professionals and provide updates to and from the customer until final delivery. Along the way, you will be involved with photo restoration projects, documentary filmmaking, the publishing of family history books and more.
We work Monday through Thursday, so you will have time for your personal projects. You will be compensated with a competitive hourly wage, health insurance reimbursement, regular raises for excellent performance and commissions for your big projects. All of this happens in a cool, Downtown location with a fully-stocked kitchen in walking distance to Little Italy, the Trolley, the waterfront and great restaurants.
This position is perfect for a highly-organized person with a creative background, excellent project planning skills and an affinity for project management.
To do this job, you must:
Speak and write fluent English
Be a university graduate or senior with strong math skills.
Be able to pass a pre-employment background check
Be able to lift up to 40 pounds safely
Have very strong communication skills
Be constantly coachable and take very good notes
Be organized and efficient
Have strong computer literacy, preferably in photography, video, print, copy or graphic design
Possess experience in video editing, book, production, script writing, storytelling or a similar field.
Your experience with library sciences, photo, video, film, slides, photo prints, print shops, printing, Photoshop, Adobe Suite, scanning, documents, canvas, framing, graphic design, editing, photography, photo books, business cards, brochures, restoration, negatives, quality control, and show booth or event sales is a huge plus!
