Encor in North County San Diego is currently seeking an innovative and dedicated graphic design production artist to join our team part time. The individual in this role would be responsible for taking conceptual design ideas and creating visual representations of them, both electronically and in print. This individual would work with a variety of products, applications, and software platforms, while simultaneously collaborating with the creative director.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Work with Team to design various company projects
· Uses best practices and maximize detail while maintaining production efficiency throughout design process
· Select colors, font, images, and layout that optimizes best project look and feel
· Create visualizations which convey accurate messaging and undertones as dictated by the project
· Develop product illustrations, logos, web/print graphics, etc. as needed
· Perform retouching and manipulation of images
· Present designs to stakeholders and Creative Director
· Implement feedback/changes when appropriate
· QA designs / text for errors
Requirements and Qualifications
· Creativity, eye for detail, analytical and innovation skills
· Experience with both print and electronic media
· Proficient in design, layouts, logo creation and photo-editing software
· Skills of accuracy and attention to detail
· Time management and organizational skills/able to meet deadlines
· The ability and desire to stay up to date with commercial design/graphics trends and implement these in company projects
· Experience with Major Design Programs: Illustrator, InDesign, and PhotoShop, Microsoft excel. 3D Rendering software experience also a bonus
