Job description
A San Diego Based Law Firm is looking for an experienced Paralegal who can operate in a fast-paced firm focused on civil litigation matters, with an emphasis on personal injury law and Mass Tort.
Position Responsibilities:
Ability to manage a client's case from beginning to settlement
Ability to manage trial preparation including: coordination of witnesses and travel, trial exhibits, charts, trial notebook, subpoenas, and page lines
Independently obtain, review and organize medical records/medical billings, calculate damages including medical expenses, lost wages and property damage
Work as part of a team with all levels of experience
Routine communication with clients and attorneys about case status and preparation
Position Requirements:
Paralegal certification
2+ years experience as a paralegal
High proficiency with MS Suite
Ability to think and act independently and with minimal supervision
Articulate, organized and a team player with excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Bilingual in Spanish a plus
