Position Overview:
The Truck-trailer Driver/Landscape Construction Laborer plays a vital role in our project execution team, ensuring the efficient and timely completion of projects. This position is central to our operations and offers a dynamic work environment.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in landscape or hardscape construction is advantageous, with a preference for candidates possessing 1 to 3 years in the field, although we welcome newcomers eager to learn.
- Experience with truck and trailer operations.
- Excellent customer service capabilities.
- Adherence to the highest standards of construction, building, and safety practices across all job sites.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
- An ideal role for individuals with a background in landscape work or truck driving.
Principal Duties:
- Site clean-up and removal of debris.
- Loading, unloading, transporting, and hoisting of materials.
- Performing excavation and trenching tasks.
- Supporting the landscape/hardscape teams as required.
- Operating a variety of hand and power tools.
- Transporting materials to and from job sites.
- Maintenance and operational checks on the company truck.
- Safe operation of the company truck and equipment.
- Collection of materials from suppliers as needed.
- Fostering positive relationships with both team members and clients.
-Artificial turf maintenance (cleaning, power brooming, disinfecting)
Employment Requirements:
- A valid California Class C Driver License with a clean driving record is essential.
- Capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling weights up to 50 pounds.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and complete tasks as per the work schedule.
- Reliable and consistent attendance, with the willingness to work overtime when necessary.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
