Porter: (Starting from $25.75 per hour to $29.10 per hour; plus mileage)
The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining high quality standards and providing excellent customer service to our residents. This role is responsible for performing cleaning/janitorial duties related to interior and exterior product preparation for the property.
Essential Job Functions:
1. Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the property.
2. Ensure the property’s central trash removal areas and/or compactors are serviced, emptied and kept clean.
3. Maintain tools and equipment and ensures they are in working order.
4. Perform basic housekeeping duties to ensure apartments are ready for occupancy.
5. Clean light fixtures, windows, various equipment, laundry rooms, etc. and cleans storage and common areas including, parking lots, swimming pools, office, etc.
6. Attend monthly safety meetings and accurately completes work records.
7. Responsible for safety storing chemicals, cleaning products and hazardous materials.
8. Maintain work, supply carts and storage areas in a neat and organized manner.
9. Perform Light Landscaping (Mowing, weeding, etc)
10. Clean swimming pools at assigned properties.

Available to work a flexible schedule (Weekends, OT)

Reliable Pickup Truck or Work Van. (Mileage paid at $0.67cent per mile.)
Maintenance Technician: (Starting from $31.10 per hour to $34.80 per hour; plus mileage)
They ensure the property community meets safety, appearance and operational standards established by the organization.
Essential Job Functions:
1. Respond to resident requests for maintenance
2. Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the property
3. Complete necessary repairs to building exteriors and common areas as assigned by Supervisor.
4. Complete Unit Turns
5. Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance installation and repair
6. Adhere to the company’s safety program rules, attend safety meetings and performs all duties in a safe manner.
Requirements:
Minimum of 1+ years of hands on general maintenance experience
Available to work a flexible schedule (Weekends, OT)
Reliable Pickup Truck or Work Van. (Mileage paid at $0.67cent per mile.)
Valid driver’s license and vehicle registration/insurance required.
Good driving record
Required to work weekends as may be needed.
Required to speak and write the English language in an understandable manner.
Preferred Experience:
1 Year of Hotel Experience is HIGHLY PREFERRED!
Trade School or Maintenance Training Program Preferred
HVAC experience preferred but not required
CPO preferred but not required
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Uphold company Values and Mission Statement.
2. Maintain a professional image and attitude at all times; observing the policies and
procedures of Gene Bowman Realty when conducting business with residents and all
related parties.
3. Be familiar and remain up-to-date with all OSHA and related agency guidelines to ensure
100% compliance with all regulations.
4. Inspect the property on a regular basis and report all safety hazards, property damage, and
needed repairs to Maintenance Supervisor. Follow up on repairs to verify completion and
compliance with OSHA, property insurance companies, government agencies, and
company safety policies and risk management procedures.
5. Ensure completion of all maintenance service requests from residents and follow-up with
Maintenance Supervisor on service calls, keeping and filing all copies and related
documentation.
6. Coordinate with the Maintenance Administrator to schedule preventative maintenance work
and resident service requests.
7. Follow the community preventative maintenance program regularly.
8. Actively participate in all maintenance duties including but not limited to maintenance
service request completion and grounds keeping.
9. Communicate need of routine supplies and materials to Maintenance Supervisor.
10. Report all property issues and potential liabilities along with recommendations for
solving such issues to management staff.
11. Handle any emergency that may arise on the community following Steadfast policies and
procedures.
