We are currently seeking a Pool Maintenance Technician with their own reliable truck, a valid drivers license, and insurance to join our team at Pacific Pools in La Jolla, California.
You will be paid more than any other pool service company in the United States if you can meet the quality standards we expect. (Our service technicians average $40-$60/hour)
We have developed close-proximity pool accounts to make daily maintenance routes economical and time-saving.
All accounts are in great working order and all have automatic vacuum cleaners for efficiency.
Our repair technicians and automation technicians can respond to accounts with problems within 24-36 hours to help.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine and preventive swimming pool cleaning/maintenance
Provide your own reliable work truck (No SUVs/cars due to chemical exposure) and also have backup funds to rent a truck if necessary to ensure work is completed each week.
Complete work at the same day each week in a timely manner so customers are aware of when we are there.
Excellent customer service skills
Clean-cut professional work appearance (We provide comfortable, moisture-wicking, work shirts and hats)
Daily notifications of work start time and photos of each account serviced for customer documentation to reduce customer complaints and supply end of day notes to help our repair technicians before the next service visit.

Qualifications preferred, but not mandatory:
Previous experience in swimming pool and spa cleaning (skimming, vacuuming, brushing etc.)
Experience with basic pool water chemistry balancing (Chlorine, Acid, Cyanuric Acid etc.)
Experience with basic hot tub/spawater chemistry balancing
Familiarity with pool and spa cleaning/maintenancetools and equipment
Familiarity with pool and spa pumps, valves, filters and automation systems
Ability to handle physical workload (must be able to lift 50lbs)
Attention to deadlines and the ability to maintain a consistent daily schedule

Payment and Insurance Information:
Weekly payments
You will be required to submit a W-9 and will be paid asa 1099 subcontractor for Pacific Pools
You will eventually be required to have general liability insurance @$70/month in case you cause any flooding.
