Are you a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented individual with a passion for keeping things running smoothly? Our family of seven is looking for a Personal Assistant to help my wife manage the day-to-day tasks involved in running a busy household. This is a full-time role that requires someone reliable, efficient, and ready to tackle various responsibilities to maintain a clean, organized, and functional home environment.

Responsibilities

As the Personal Assistant, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including but not limited to:

Cleaning & Organization:

Perform daily cleaning of all areas in the home, including living spaces, bathrooms, bedrooms, and common areas.

Vacuum, mop, dust, and sanitize surfaces to maintain cleanliness.

Organize and declutter spaces regularly, ensuring everything has its place.

Maintain the pantry and storage spaces, ensuring they are neat and accessible.

Kitchen Management:

Wash dishes promptly and ensure the kitchen is clean and organized after meals.

Keep track of groceries and household items; restock as necessary through online orders or trips to the store.

Organize and inventory food items to ensure freshness and minimize waste.

Laundry & Clothing Care:

Wash, dry, fold, and organize laundry for a family of seven.

Handle special care items such as delicate fabrics or stain treatment when necessary.

Ensure clothing is properly stored and rotated seasonally.

Trash & Recycling:

Take out daily trash and recycling, ensuring bins are emptied regularly.

Ensure trash and recycling bins are placed at the curb for weekly pickup and brought back afterward.

Meal Prep Assistance:

Assist in light meal preparation or setup, such as chopping ingredients, setting the table, or packing lunches.

Organize and maintain kitchen tools, utensils, and appliances for efficiency.

Errands & Supply Management:

Purchase groceries, household supplies, and other essentials, either in-store or online.

Stock and replenish household items, including toiletries, cleaning supplies, and pantry goods.

Additional Household Support:

Work closely with my wife to address additional household needs as they arise.

Provide support for occasional events, family gatherings, or special projects (e.g., organizing closets or preparing for guests).

Act as a go-to person for any unexpected household needs or emergencies.

Requirements

Experience: Proven experience in household management, housekeeping, or personal assistant roles is highly preferred.

Skills: Exceptional organizational skills, multitasking ability, and attention to detail.

Proactive: Able to anticipate needs and take initiative to address them.

Flexible: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic family environment.

Physical Ability: Able to perform physical tasks such as cleaning, lifting, or moving household items.

Trustworthy: Must be dependable, honest, and respectful of family privacy.
