San Diego Parasailing Adventures is currently in search of reliable, outgoing and adventurous individuals to try-out for a position as First Mate/Flight Technician, working aboard our state-of-the-art Parasail Boats (Training provided).
Deckhand Prospects must be physically fit and able to:
Commit to a part-time/full-time position
Work weekends and Holidays if necessary
Enjoy interacting with guests
Work in a beach environment
Lift heavy weights periodically
Work on an oceangoing vessel in potentially challenging sea and weather conditions (those susceptible to seasickness need not apply).
Swim in an ocean environment if necessary (pass 800’ swim test)
Pass a pre-employment drug test and enroll in our random drug testing program.
Pass a background check.
Earn between $20 and $80/hr (hourly + tips + bonuses)
Become First-Aid/CPR certified.
Perform general duties such as: vessel cleaning, equipment inspections and maintenance, deliver safety briefings, boarding passengers, inflating/deflating parasail canopies, harnessing passengers, shooting action photos, checking-in guests, etc.
Must be a dependable “people-person” with a great attitude and a strong desire to have fun. Boating experience a plus, safety-first attitude a must. Training provided if you make the team.
