About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Installation & Dismantling Lead with strong experience in the tradeshow industry to join our San Diego facility. This role requires 75% work in our warehouse performing and leading I&D operations and 25% travel to show sites across the country for booth setup and teardown.
This is a working lead position – you will be physically involved in building, dismantling, packing, and moving exhibit components alongside your team. Strong English communication skills are required to interact effectively with team members and show site personnel.
Key Responsibilities
Physically perform the installation and dismantling of custom tradeshow exhibits in our San Diego warehouse and at show sites.
Supervise and lead warehouse teams and onsite labor crews to ensure timelines and quality standards are met.
Travel to show sites for hands-on setup and teardown (approx. 25% travel).
Coordinate with project managers, designers, and logistics teams for seamless execution.
Inspect booth components for quality and readiness; report and resolve any damages.
Maintain warehouse organization, inventory, and ensure proper packing of exhibit materials.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical or structural issues during setup/dismantle.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of hands-on I&D experience in the tradeshow or exhibit industry.
Strong knowledge of booth construction, modular systems, and show site protocols.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and floor plans.
Must speak and understand English clearly for worksite communication.
· The ability to stay on schedule and complete job in allotted timeframe.
· Trouble shoot and problem solve to ensure 100% accuracy and quality.
Physically fit and able to perform heavy lifting (50+ lbs), bending, standing for long periods, and working at heights.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.
