These are typically the types of things that need doing around any house. This one was built in 1956, just for your reference.
This is not a complete list, just an idea of the type of help I need.
I need help digging holes, planting things, and general maintenance (like washing the outside of the house with a pressure washer, pulling weeds, and placing stepping stones).
Can you access a low crawl space under the house? It's around 18” to 24” for inspection and who knows what else? It's really claustrophobic under there and I cannot get under there myself.
Climb a ladder to the roof to clean gutters, clean solar panels, cut off branches that extend over the roof, etc.
Access the attic for inspection
Fix cracks in walls
Painting (interior and exterior)
Replace window screens
Wash exterior windows
Can you do minor electrical repair?
Can you do minor plumbing repair?
Do you have any experience with small concrete projects?
You'll find that I'm easy to work with. I just need help as I'm now 71 years old. I enjoy working outdoors and I look forward to working TOGETHER with you as an equal partner in maintaining and improving my home. If you are self-motivated, that's even better. When possible, I'd like to share the final goal with you and ask your opinion as to how to accomplish it.
I'll even buy your lunch and keep you on the clock for a half-hour while you relax on the patio in the shade. As the ad states, I'll pay $20/hour and guarantee you five hours per visit, with the distinct possibility that it might be longer. Twenty bucks an hour is really the limit of my finances.
I'm pretty flexible as far as what days of the week you'd like to work.
