Full Time Janitor
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor/Custodian to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in our North County San Diego facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for vacuuming, mopping, dusting and maintaining the overall cleanliness both inside and outside of the premises. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting
Clean bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, and floors.
Maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the facility both inside and out.
Restock supplies and materials as needed in the warehouse, kitchen and bathroom.
Ability to run a blower and a floor scrubber
Report all supply needs to Manager in a timely fashion and prior to exhausting current supply
Ability to take on non-routine cleaning and special projects as needed
Ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Ability to lift 30 pounds and perform physical labor
Availability to work 40 hours per week, with some flexibility for overtime as needed
Must be able to work independently
Reliable transportation to and from work site
Ability to pass a background check and drug test
What We Offer:
Competitive hourly rate of $25.00 hr.
Must have California Driver’s License
Knowledge of the English Language
