Overview:
We are currently seeking Operators to join our team. This position drives liquefied gas powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices such as forklift with or without a dumping attachment (rotator) to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities:
Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials, and transports load to designated area. Inventory items may be required to be stacked up to 20ft high.
Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
Inventories materials on work floor, and supply workers with materials as needed.
Weighs materials or products and records weight on tags, labels, or production schedules.
Loads or unloads materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting device.
Unloads inbound materials in the dock area from 53 ft trailers. Materials may be on pallets or bales on the floor.
Unloads inbound materials from a flatbed trailer within designated areas. These materials may be in Bins, on pallets or bales on the trailer.
Completes paperwork to identify items loaded / unloaded and provides information to the scale house and or driver.
Loads trailers or containers with outbound materials.
Lubricates truck, inspects unit prior to usage, cleans unit, recharges batteries, fills liquefied gas tank.
Experience:
Prior experience in operating reach trucks, forklifts, or similar equipment is preferred.
Familiarity with order picking processes and warehouse operations
Ability to lift heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong mechanical aptitude for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
Experience with clamp trucks is a plus.
