As the Driver, you’ll be responsible for:
Safely driving a box type truck to and from client locations, obeying all relevant vehicle/driving laws
Assisting movers with loading and unloading truck and placement inside truck
Organizing items inside truck to ensure full capacity is utilized
Operating small power tools and equipment supplied by MEK Enterprises.
Performing a pre and post vehicle inspection and submitting report to supervisor daily
Ensuring fuel, oil and tire pressure levels are adequate for safe vehicle operation
Good driving record and previous 2-yrs safe driving experience with box trucks and similar vehicles required
If you have installation experience such as light construction or carpentry, we want to talk with you, too!
If you have experience as a mover of commercial offices and equipment, we want to talk with you, too!

Ideally, if you have previous experience in commercial packing and moving tasks or in installing equipment and furniture as well as comfortable handling small hand and power tools effectively and safely. Besides heavy lifting, organizational skills and being conscientious about time management is key to completing these projects on time and under budget. The job also requires the ability to speak, read, and comprehend basic instructions in English, compose short correspondence, and understand verbal instructions, policy documents and the ability to read/follow directions.
This job is great for those who are physically active. To do your job well, you’ll need the ability to frequently bend, twist, walk, lift, carry, and stand for extended periods of time as well as to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
