Ride1Up is a leading e-commerce company focused on the sale of electric bikes direct to consumer. This is a unique opportunity for a bicycle mechanic to join a fun, fast paced industry while gaining valuable e-commerce operations experience.
The eBike Mechanic will report to the Shop Manager and will have important customer facing responsibilities while supporting on e-commerce operations.
The Mechanic must have strong bicycle assembly experience as a mechanic and have some exposure to eBike assembly. They will also be supporting our e-commerce team by managing customer returns and warranty claims, ship warranty parts/components, and order inventory supplies.
Experience as a bike mechanic required. Electric bicycle experience preferred.

Responsibilities
-Assembly bikes and maintain the cleanliness of the service shop
-Troubleshoot technical bike issues
-Manage warranty claims and process returns
-Update online customer support team with warranty part shipments and inventory
-Ad-hoc requests as needed
Qualifications
-Bike Mechanic Experience Required (Electric bicycle experience preferred)
-Ability to problem solve and communicate directly with customers
-Excellent people skills, both in-person and on the phone
-Customer service experience
-Experience with Slack and Freshdesk or Zendesk
