Hiring for C6 / 1099 Cabinet Installers located in the greater San Diego area with your own crew of installer or self-employed.
We are also hiring for C6 / 1099 Co. that can build RTA Cabinets (Ready to Assemble) and install cabinets into production homes / ADU's and apartment complexes in the greater San Deigo area.
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position installs prefabricated cabinets and hardware, providing exceptional service to our customers.
Compensation: Piece rate available as C6 / 1099
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Measures and cuts the bases, pedestals, housing, shelves, doors, drawers and tops.
2. Measures the wall spaces between appliances or fixtures, then measures and cuts all wood for cabinet parts.
3. Assembles the parts and affix them to the walls.
4. Hangs cabinets, shelves, builds pedestals and shells, lays tops and affixes door hinges, drawer slides and handles.
5. Finishes the wood uniformly and smoothly.
6. Cleans up the sawdust, discarded wood and product packaging.
7. Performs other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
1. High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
2. Must have minimum two (2) years’ experience
3. Must have experience in all phases of cabinet installation
4. Possess the ability to read technical drawings, specifications, blueprints
5. Must be willing to travel as required
6. Must have reliable transportation and tools
7. Must have all required State of CA Insurance documents (COI, Auto, State License C6)
