Job Title: Balance & Recovery for Corporate Bike Fleet

About the Role:

The Balance & Recovery Specialist is responsible for maintaining the optimal distribution and availability of the assigned corporate bike fleet. This involves tracking bike locations, redistributing bikes as needed, and recovering bikes that are misplaced or require maintenance.

Responsibilities:

Tracking & Inventory: Maintaining accurate records of all bike locations and their status (available, in use, maintenance). Utilizing GPS tracking systems, mobile apps, or other tools to monitor bike distribution.

Balancing Distribution: Analyzing usage patterns and proactively relocating bikes to high-demand areas. Developing strategies to ensure equitable access to bikes across different office locations or departments.

Recovery: Locating and retrieving misplaced or abandoned bikes. Working with security or other personnel to recover bikes that may have been improperly used or stolen. Implementing procedures to minimize bike loss.

Maintenance Coordination: Identifying bikes requiring maintenance and coordinating with bike repair services. Ensuring bikes are promptly serviced and returned to circulation.

Reporting: Generating regular reports on bike usage, distribution, and recovery efforts. Identifying trends and suggesting improvements to the bike fleet management system.

Fleet Management System: Becoming proficient in and utilizing any software or platforms used for fleet management.

Other Related Duties: Assisting with other tasks related to the corporate bike program as needed.

Qualifications:

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Proficiency in using technology, including GPS tracking systems and mobile apps.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Experience in logistics, inventory management, or a related field is a plus.

Familiarity with bicycle maintenance and repair is a plus.

Passion for sustainable transportation and cycling is a plus!
