As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will focus on full life cycle recruitment, sourcing, employment branding, engagement, and retention by collaborating with all levels of leadership to assist in the development of talent acquisition strategies and to advise leaders on best practices for assessing and interviewing candidates, while maintaining strong connections in the community and staying informed of talent trends.
Education, Credentials, Licenses and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience
3+ years’ experience recruiting/talent acquisition in a manufacturing/warehouse environment
SHRM Certification preferred
Responsibilities
Plan, develop, implement, and maintain creative branding and talent acquisition strategies to attract and identify top talent through various recruiting and staffing resources including advertising, social media, universities, career events, job fairs, etc.
Create, develop, lead, track, and implement engagement and retention strategies
Create, track, and monitor metrics, analyze data and market trends
Seek and implement innovative methods to identify and attract qualified candidates
Create and prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards, colleges, etc.
Design and manage recruitment and selection process
Collaborate with hiring managers in determining staffing needs to support the business
Communicate with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting methods
Manage applicant tracking system and workflow
Actively participate in the interview process by assessing candidates for core competencies, leadership qualities, and exploring career options
Process pre-employment background checks, verifications and drug test
Manage respective candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current and future opportunities; manage a pipeline of candidates
Negotiate job offers with candidates, advise hiring managers in the negotiation process
Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
Represent company internally and externally at events with a goal of networking and relationship building with potential candidate communities
Establish university partnerships and plan campus presence, coordinate and attend college and community recruiting events
Serve as Company Representative at various events, like career fairs and on-campus recruiting events
Actively manage our online and public employer reputation
Adheres to all EEO legislation, the ADA, and other government compliance requirements in relation to interviews, testing and hiring requirements
Champions diversity and inclusion initiatives
Actively work toward building a diverse and qualified team to support the organization
Work closely with management on all diversity initiatives involving recruitment to ensure fairness in hiring practices
Manage onboarding of new hires.
Previous Payroll experience a plus.
Manage job and task analysis to develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
Develop training materials and conducts educational sessions throughout the company on recruiting talent
Research HR talent acquisition best practices, methods, and processes; proactively recommend process improvement policies to standardize, rationalize and simplify recruiting processes
Proactively seek market intelligence to gain competitive advantage in attraction, assessment and sourcing methodologies

Excellent sourcing and selection techniques
Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint as well as Applicant Tracking Systems
Strong social media technology experience
Proven ability to develop and manage strong relationships with a broad range of individuals at various levels of the organization
Strong interview skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask and make critical decisions while maintaining composure in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and departments simultaneously
Ability to work collaboratively and openly with cross-functional business leaders
Ability to work with minimal supervision, maintain confidentiality, and manage sensitive information
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Available to work before and after standard office hours as work requires
