Rancho Santa Fe Veterinary Hospital is looking for a compassionate and dedicated full-time veterinary assistant or technician to join our amazing team in beautiful Solana Beach, CA.

The primary responsibilities of this position are to support our veterinarians and team, provide compassionate care to our patients, and help deliver an exceptional experience to our clients. You’ll assist the doctors during exams and procedures in accordance with your training and skill level. This includes performing routine lab work, taking radiographs, administering medications and treatments, and assisting with accurate record-keeping. Strong communication skills are essential, as you'll be interacting with pet owners- offering updates, guidance, and reassurance with empathy and professionalism. You'll also play a key role in keeping our hospital clean, organized, and running smoothly each day.

Experience in the veterinary field is strongly preferred but this requirement may be waived for an otherwise ideal candidate. A Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification is not required. Compensation is dependent upon prior education and experience. Salary range: $21-27/hr.
