We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented & ambitious Acupuncturist (must be DACM & L.Ac) to root deeply into their practice at our stunning La Jolla clinic.
This role will begin as a part-time acupuncture practitioner and come with extensive training in Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) facilitation as well as medical direction of the clinic. These are required roles to take on. Depending on performance, the role can grow to full time as the Medical Director, senior Acupuncturist & HBOT Technician in 2 months time.
At least one year of previous clinical experience as a Licensed Acupuncturist is required.
Your own malpractice/liability insurance is required, as well as appropriate upkeep of your CEU's.
The Acupuncturist we are seeking will have:
-A passion for comprehensive patient-centered care
-Excellent communication skills
-Comfort with examining, evaluating, diagnosing & treating patients
-Respect for slow medicine and multi-faceted treatments that include manual therapy, moxibustion, fire cupping or herbal recommendations beyond the acupuncture
-The ability to stay focused & motivated when working alone, but also easygoing & helpful when working with the clinical team
-The capacity to keep up with clinical work outside of the treatment room, including but not limited to: EMR charting/billing/booking, simple marketing tasks, sanitizing surfaces
-Understanding that this is an Acupuncture role that is fully integrated with becoming an HBOT Technician & Medical Director along the way (we will teach you)
