Hi All,
Priority RN has been asked to screen for two RN's and one or two LVN's to work at a freestanding outpatient endoscopy surgery center. I will be interviewing and screening nurses to present to them for the final screening/hiring process. The nurses can be new grads, but they do prefer nurses with some sort of experience so that you have proven accountability and dependability within the nursing profession.
You will be trained to work initially as a recovery room nurse. After you master that arena, then you will be trained to work in the PreOP area. Nurses will progress at different rates, depending on facility need, as well as your ability to take initiative, learn the job and excel in each arena. There "may" be an opportunity for an RN to eventually be trained in the procedure room.
Requirements:
Current unencumbered CA RN or CA LVN
BLS and ACLS - or obtain upon offer
Reliability
Organizational skills
Eager to learn a new area of nursing - outpatient, not acute, and not skilled nursing yay
Excellent customer service skills are a MUST
Anticipated pay you will be offered will be $35 to $36 ish for LVN and $45 to $46 ish for RN
(The rate will be offered by the facility after meet and greet and interview - please do not apply if these rates do not work for you. There is value in the ability to learn a new skill/speciality area, plus outpatient is of great value, PLUS benefits)
Ability to speak, read and write/type English
Bilingual will be helpful - Spanish or Tagalog
Ability to float day to day between El Cajon and National City campus
These are really great opportunities for the right nurses. Submit your resume and a cover letter on why you'd be a good fit. I'll review and reach out to you if I'd like to proceed with interviewing you.
Thanks and make it a great day :)
