Mare's House JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: LIVE-IN RESIDENTIAL HOUSE MANAGER

Compensation: House manager will live rent-free at the young adult females sober living.

JOB PURPOSE: The House Manager is responsible for the operations of the residential house of Mare's House.

Additional Job Duties and Responsibilities, but are not limited to:

Two year minimum in recovery.

Report resident’s medicine quantities and refills to program director and case manager when needed.

Assist the case manager when residents are in need of transportation if given ample notice. House manager may be required to provide transportation to residents.

Maintaining an honor system in logging in all work hours on time sheet logs and turning in biweekly timesheet logs to the office administrator in timely manner.

Continue all other Residential House Manager job duties and responsibilities.

Working closely with Program Director and Case Manager to enforce interventions when residents have infractions. House manager will be required to give consequences to residents who do not abide by the house rules.

Random Drug test and breathalyze all residents on a regular basis. Minimum of 2-3 times per week.

Maintain the house cleanliness by making sure all residents do their daily chores, deep cleaning, bedroom checks, and general property upkeep. House manager is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in their personal bedroom/bathroom areas.

Report any household repairs or maintenance issues that need attention, including household appliances to the supervisor.

Conduct a weekly house meeting with the residents to discuss household chores and cleanliness, meeting attendance, step work with AA sponsor, medication management, and check-ins.

Community cooking with the residents

Work hands-on with the program director and case manager for client-related tasks and follow ups.

Transportation of clients when needed.
