We are a compassionate and dedicated team focused on providing quality care and support for 6 female residents with developmental disabilities. Our facility offers a familial atmosphere where each individual's needs are attentively addressed. We are seeking a live-in caregiver who is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of our residents.
This unique live-in caregiver role includes free lodging and utilities. The position is a split shift during the weekdays and regular shift on weekends. Individuals or couples considered.
We are also seeking caregivers for multiple shifts for our senior care facility.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide assistance and support to residents as needed.
- Actively engage in daily care routines and assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules and monitor health conditions.
- Maintain cleanliness and standards within the facility, ensuring a safe environment.
- Prepare meals and manage dietary requirements for residents.
- Ability to accompany and possibly transport residents to appointments and outings using company vehicle.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to enhance the quality of life for residents.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous Live-In Experience preferred.
- 1+ Years of Direct Support Provider experience. Working with developmental disabilities and behavioral experience is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with people at all levels.
- Basic computer skills for charting and medication administration recording
- Eligibility to work in the U.S., with proper documentation. Social Security Number or ITIN needed.
- Minimum age of 18 years with a valid driver’s license or government-issued ID.
- Required to pass a background check and fingerprinting. Immediate start available for candidates with existing clearances.
- Health screening and TB test required prior to employment.
- CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to undergo training.
