JOB/POSITION:
Full time. Must be available for day shift, overnight shifts and weekends, as needed. Scheduling will be further discussed during interview.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are a licensed 6 bed residential care facility, aka Board & Care. You will be working with other caregivers assisting the residents in all day to day living needs such as showers, diaper changing, medication, personal grooming, transferring, feeding, cooking and cleaning after them.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Must be 18 or older
-Must have hands-on experience providing direct care to the elderly in a 6 bed facility or larger community
- Able to communicate in English
- Must be a good team player.
-Must have experience in medication management (administer medication timely, correctly and document each time)
-Must be comfortable with hospice and total care residents.
-Must have current health screening and TB test. Negative TB test result must be within 6 months
-Must be CPR and First Aid Certified
-Must obtain live scan fingerprint criminal background clearance prior to employment
COMPENSATION:
-16-17 dollars hourly
