Basic Eligibility:
-17-35 years old, waivable up to 40
-US Citizen or I-551/Green Card holder
-In good health, able to pass physical screening
-Minimal Law violations, assessed on case by case basis
-HS Graduate, 15 college semester Hrs, or GED in hand
-Prior Service: RE-1 eligible, all others assessed on case by case basis
The Army National Guard is the First and Oldest Branch of the US Military(est. 1636). We helped to establish the United States and Serve to protect it to this day. Our primary purpose is to serve and protect the community and state we belong to. When California or the Nation encounters an emergency, we stand ready to respond to the call. Our benefits can be taken advantage of while severing and not necessarily after service commitment has been completed. With the minimum commitment of 1 weekend/month and 2 weeks/summer, you can pursue your Professional career, Personal goals, Education, or Build your family.
