All Aspects Catering is looking for committed, experienced, and hardworking Line Cooks. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Executive Chef and Culinary Team to prepare and cook a handful of varying dishes for events that are held all throughout San Diego County. Line Cook Duties and Responsibilities

- Check inventory for ingredients and supplies, noting when ingredients and supplies are low and need to be ordered.

- Prepping ingredients before each meal service

- Preparing dishes following a recipe and the Head Chef instructions

- Plating and garnishing dishes before they are served

- Ensuring portions are proper and set to standards of the Head Chef

- Maintaining clean work areas throughout meal service

- Following all safety and sanitation guidelines

- Ensuring food is properly stored in containers and storage areas including labeling and dating procedures

- Becoming familiar with all new menu items and procedures

- Performing duties in other areas of the kitchen as needed

- Maintaining and properly using all kitchen equipment including but not limited to fryers, stoves, ovens, food processors, mandolins, mixers, etc.

- Assisting with the deep cleaning schedule

Line Cook Requirements and Qualifications

- 2+ years cooking in a professional kitchen

- Understanding professional cooking and knife handling skills


- Experience in the service industry, preferably in a catering/banquet environment or equivalent combination of education and experience

- Excelling in a variety of cooking styles and techniques

- Knowledge of food safety, rules, and regulations

- Flexible schedule - must be able to work weekdays and weekends

- Must have reliable transportation. We work out of our main kitchen location and travel to different venues and event spaces all throughout San Diego County

- Ability to work calmly and effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to take direction and work in a team environment

- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with Team Members

- Frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting of heavy kitchen equipment
