What You will do :
Make all of our guests feel comfortable and let them know you are there to take care of them
Know regular guests by name; know their preferences and needs
Be comfortable in a fast paced environment
Able to lift heavy plates, trays, etc.
Use sanitary precautions when cleaning tables, plates, cups, etc.
Familiar with requirements for bussing tables
Keep the dining spaces clean and presentable
Communicate regularly with your servers and anticipate their needs
Go above and beyond guests expectations; respond promptly and courteously to their requests
Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant
You need to be:
A person who loves authentic Italian food and has the ability to create a warm and welcoming environment. You should have at least 2 years of experience in a high volume restaurant. You have excellent English communication skills and the desire to work as a part of a team. You also will be comfortable standing for long periods of time and able to lift up to 25 pounds. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work weekends and some holidays. Familiar with POS systems. Comfortable in a very fast paced environment, with the ability to multi-task. Knowledgeable with different Italian wines and wine pairings. Team player with a positive attitude!
