Activities & Responsibilities
Minimum 3 years of GM positions.
Assess staffing needs and recruit staff.
Schedule staff hours and assign duties.
Order and purchase equipment and supplies.
Be knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel.
Continually strive to develop staff in all areas of development.
Establish standards for personnel performance and customer service.
Investigate and resolve complaints regarding food quality, service, or accommodations.
Ensure that all policies, procedures, standards, and training programs are followed and completed on a timely basis.
Monitor compliance with health and fire regulations regarding food preparation and serving, and building maintenance.
Review financial statements, sales reports, and other performance data to identify areas needing cost reduction or program improvement.
