Harvest Kitchen is a successful organic catering company located in North County. Our Corporate Lunch program is growing, and we are hiring for a full-time Prep Cook/Food Truck Cook to work under Head Chef and Lead Prep Cook at our satellite kitchen in San Marcos.
Responsibilities:
- Follow recipes and direction of Chefs
- Lots of vegetable prep
- Drive food truck (clean driving record)
- Prepare meals onsite 2 days per week for client on food truck, under team of senior chef
- Keep a clean work station
- Keep a high vibe, positive team player attitude
Schedule:
Mon 6am-2pm
Tue 6am - 2pm
Wed 8am - 5pm
Thu 8am-5pm
Friday or Saturday - ability to pickup shifts with Harvest Kitchen’s event team under Exec Chef.
Experience: little to no experience required. You will learn valuable skills in working with Harvest Kitchen.
$20/hr for prep work and $23/hr when preparing meals onsite 2 days per week for client on the food truck which you would work alone at times.
Also, share of tip pool if/when you work events on Fridays or Saturdays.
We will be conducting reference checks for those who make it to the next round.
