Primal Balance Nutrition is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Prep Cook to join our fast-paced, high-quality kitchen team. We serve fully organic, gluten-free, dairy-free, and allergen-friendly meals to clients across San Diego.
Schedule:
Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
⏰ 6:30 AM – 4:00-5:00 PM depending on production flow
Pay & Perks:
Starting at $22/hr

What You’ll Do:
Cook proteins, vegetables, and other ingredients to correct internal temperatures
Saute, roast, grill, and poach — must be comfortable with both brunch and batch cooking
Plate meals with precision, following specific ingredient breakdowns
Work on a team to ensure food safety, kitchen flow, and high standards
Support kitchen staff around you and maintain a clean, organized station
What We’re Looking For:
-Strong experience in prep kitchens or commercial cooking
-Can make omelets, poach eggs, and handle brunch-style service
-Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-minded
-Familiar with ovens, flat-tops, and safe food handling practices
-Passionate about clean food and nutrition
