Job Description:

Prept Meals is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Casual/Part-Time Kitchen Staff. We are looking for cooks/kitchen staff who are passionate about food, have a keen eye for detail, and are committed to delivering exceptional food to our customers.

Responsibilities:

Basic Kitchen experience

Food Cutting and Preparation

Pan Frying/Sauté.

Baking: Assisting with baking tasks, including measuring ingredients, mixing doughs, and monitoring baking times and temperatures to achieve desired results.

Cooking Meals: Assisting in the cooking of meals by following recipes, portioning ingredients, and ensuring that dishes are cooked and presented according to our standards.

Portioning meals accurately.

Cleaning Kitchen Equipment: Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen by washing, sanitizing, and organizing kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations.

Following Food Safety Principles: Adhering to standard food safety practices and maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment to ensure the safety and well-being of our customers and staff.

Requirements:

Fluent English: Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, to ensure clear communication with the team and customers.

Legally Allowed to Work in the USA: Candidates must possess valid documentation to legally work in the United States.

Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate food preparation and presentation.

Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Team Player: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Must have valid food handlers certificate.

Hours:

This is a casual/part-time position offering approximately 5-8 hours per week. The specific schedule will be discussed during the interview process and may vary based on business needs.
