We’re Hiring: Line Cooks & Sous Chef

San Diego, CA | Full-Time

We’re a coastal kitchen with a professional backbone and a passion for quality. Our team is growing, and we’re looking for experienced Line Cooks and a Sous Chef to bring skill, heart, and focus to the line.

About the Roles

Line Cooks

You’ll work the sauté station and/or wood-fired oven, prepping and executing dishes with precision, speed, and pride. We’re looking for cooks who thrive in a clean, fast-paced kitchen, know how to stay sharp on the line, and genuinely care about what’s going out on the plate.

Sous Chef

In addition to cooking on the line, you’ll help lead the kitchen team—managing flow during service, supporting prep, coaching newer staff, and helping keep the kitchen running smooth and tight. It’s a leadership role with hands-on energy.

What You Bring

-Prior experience in a professional kitchen (fine dining a big plus)

-Strong knife skills, cooking technique, and plating discipline

-Familiarity with wood-fired or high-heat cooking (for line cooks)

-For Sous Chef: proven kitchen leadership and solid prep/scheduling knowledge

-The ability to stay cool and focused when the tickets start flying

-A desire to be part of a team that respects each other and loves great food
