Job Summary
We’re looking for a reliable, self-motivated individual with strong communication and organizational skills. This role is responsible for overseeing kitchen prep, managing inventory and vendor ordering, and coordinating catering orders and deliveries. You will work closely with management to ensure smooth operations and high-quality service
Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee Kitchen Operations: Manage daily prep and production, ensuring all catering orders and walk-in needs are met efficiently with the team.
Maintain Product Excellence: Supervise the preparation of hot foods, cold items, and deli specialties to ensure consistent quality, presentation, and food safety per ServSafe standards.
Optimize Inventory & Minimize Waste: Conduct weekly inventory and place vendor orders to control food costs and reduce waste. Maintain strong supplier relationships.
Teamwork & Communication: Collaborate effectively with FOH and management. Support the team with a flexible, no-task-too-small attitude.
Catering & Deliveries: Deliver catering orders safely, on time, and with excellent customer service.
Requirements:
Reliable, punctual, and organized with strong communication skills
2+ years of BOH/kitchen leadership in a deli or high-volume quick service environment
Catering experience preferred
Strong prep and line skills with attention to speed, consistency, and quality
Working knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and inventory management
Valid Food Handler Certification
Clean driving record
