Haven Farm + Table is a farm-to-table restaurant located in the heart of Fox Point Farms, a regenerative agrihood in Encinitas. Our menus are driven by seasonal, locally sourced ingredients, many harvested just steps from our kitchen. We’re passionate about creativity, sustainability, and community, and we’re looking for a skilled Line Cook who shares that passion.
What You’ll Do
-Prepare and execute dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients that reflect Haven’s commitment to farm-to-table dining.
-Work alongside our culinary team to maintain consistency, quality, and presentation standards.
-Assist in daily prep, cooking, plating, and maintaining organized stations.
-Uphold food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards in all aspects of the kitchen.
-Collaborate with chefs on specials and menu development, bringing creativity to seasonal offerings.
-Adapt to a fast-paced, changing menu environment with attention to detail and efficiency.
What We’re Looking For
-Previous line cook experience in a high-quality kitchen (farm-to-table or fine dining experience is a plus).
-Strong knife skills and understanding of proper cooking techniques.
-A passion for seasonal, sustainable cuisine and local sourcing.
-Ability to work as part of a team with clear communication and collaboration.
-A sense of urgency, organization, and pride in your work.
-Flexibility for weekends, evenings, and occasional special events.
