Job Title: Housekeeping Staff
Summary: Sacred Mountain Julian is hiring for Housekeeping Staff. Our property has five homes and operates as a wedding venue. We will have a new 12 room Lodge opening this Summer.
Duties and Responsibilities: As described below. Other duties may be assigned.
Prepares property for check-ins and tours.
Launders all event linens after use.
Clean catering kitchen after each event.
Changes and washes all bed linen, bedspreads and blankets as needed.
Cleans and disinfects sink, toilet and tub-shower, restocks soap and toilet paper and provides clean towels as needed.
Washes windows and window coverings in all rooms as needed.
Dust all counter tops, bedroom dresser tops and furniture as needed.
Dust paintings and door jams in rooms and hallways weekly.
Empties all trash cans on a daily basis and disposes of trash in designated areas.
Recycles appropriate materials in accordance with training procedures.
Mops and vacuums after each guest.
Reports any broken items such as beds, chairs and fixtures to management.
Replaces light bulbs as needed.
Assures all unnecessary lights are turned off as required.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Strong attention to detail required.
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior housekeeping experience helpful.
Work Environment:
The employee will predominantly work indoors but at times may be exposed to outdoor weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Physical Demands:
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands, stand, walk, talk and hear. The employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms; balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.
