Position Overview:
As a Part-Time Stock Associate, you will play a vital role in maintaining the store's inventory of fresh vegetables or food products and ensuring that products are readily available for customers. This is a contract position where you will work closely with your supervisor to manage stock levels and assist with order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Stock shelves and displays with fresh vegetable products, ensuring they are organized, properly labeled, and rotated for freshness.
2) Assist in receiving and processing incoming shipments of vegetables, verifying the accuracy of orders and inspecting for quality.
3) Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the vegetable section, stockroom, and sales floor.
4) Collaborate with supervisors to manage inventory levels, monitor product expiration dates, and assist with replenishment orders.
5) Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, helping customers locate vegetable products, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
6) Follow safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe shopping environment.
Qualifications:
1) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. (Spanish / English preferred)
2) Ability to lift and move heavy items and stand for extended periods.
3) Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
4) Previous experience in retail or grocery settings, particularly with fresh produce, is a plus but not required.
5) U.S Authorized to work (Green Card above)
6) No criminal record (will perform Background check and Drug Test)
