Sushi Roller
Point Loma Seafoods is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Sushi Roller to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing our in-house sushi entrees according to established recipes.
Responsibilities:
Prepare a variety of sushi rolls, including cutting sashimi and ensuring attractive presentation.
Perform regular opening and closing duties, such as station setup/teardown, stocking supplies, cooking sushi rice, and prepping seafood.
Maintain proper portion sizes and sanitary standards at all times.
Collaborate effectively with Clerks, Line Cooks, and guests.
Maintain and care for equipment, including knives, cutting boards, and specialized sushi tools.
Requirements:
1-2 years of experience as a Sushi Roller is preferred, but on-the-job training will be provided by our senior staff.
Full-time availability is preferred, with a mix of closing and opening shifts.
