Reports to: Food and Beverage Director/General Manager
Pay Range: $20.00/hr to $24.00/hr DOE. Also receives tips (additional $5.00 per hour minimum)
Hours: 35-40 hours per week
Direct Subordinates: All team members assigned to front counter, kitchen, security and ticket booth
While they report directly to the Food and Beverage Director, it is expected that this person would take responsibility for setting the expectation for all team members to work as a team to maximize our productivity. The Food and Beverage Supervisor is the example of our standards at all times, whether it is cleanliness, organization, or food quality. They are also responsible for the speed and accuracy of the team. The Food and Beverage Supervisor must be able to work effectively with limited supervision and demonstrate leadership in order to motivate others.
Overview of Responsibilities
This is a leadership position responsible for the development and operation of their team to support one of the most critical factors in our success, food and beverage quality
Responsible for food safety
Perform basic repairs as needed to the kitchen equipment or seek the help of a maintenance person who can perform repairs
Develop and cross train all team members
Ensure a sense of urgency from all team members at all times
Assign daily work stations and manage breaks
Ensure cleanliness
Manage the day-to-day operation
Provide oversight to the cleaning program as written
Manage food cost
Positive attitude
Communicating with the Food and Beverage Director of basic repairs and upkeep to the facility, including the equipment (necessary in order to minimize expenses and maximize productivity with as little downtime as possible)
Effectively lead the development of others, including work relationships, with emphasis on an exceptional work environment for all employees
Personal attention to training completion of all team members as they are hired
Cross-training of qualified team members to expand the operational efficiency of all shifts
Applicant must:
Have at least 1 year food and beverage supervisory experience
Being available to work evenings, weekends and holidays is mandatory
Be willing to not only supervise, but be scheduled specific job duties as well (cashier, kitchen, etc)
Must have great customer service and people skills
Has a food handler’s card or is able to complete the courses necessary upon hire
Have attended responsible alcohol service training or able to complete upon hire
Be able to lift 40 pounds comfortably
Must be able to stand for several hours at a time
