Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in our kitchen. This is an entry-level position with opportunities for growth within our organization.
Duties:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand
- Ensure all dishes are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before returning them to their designated areas
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, and cutting ingredients
- Support the culinary team by organizing and stocking kitchen supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen
- Assist with bussing tables and removing trash as needed
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures at all times
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of the kitchen
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and utensils
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
