Lit'l Pepper Gourmet is a Family owned Deli that has been serving San Diego for 30 years, and counting! We are looking for a reliable team member who can help with the morning shift, and stay of for the lunch rush. You will play a crucial role, and be responsible for preparing ingredients, crafting sandwiches to order, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
-Take orders from customers
-Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer orders and company recipes
-Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and ready for use
-Perform morning prep duties, including slicing meats and vegetables, baking bread, and preparing sauces
-Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and food preparation areas
-Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
-Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
-Provide friendly and efficient customer service
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment
Qualifications:
Requirments:
-Fluent in English, and able to take customer orders.
-Previous experience in food preparation
-Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
-Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds
-Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
-Flexibility to work part-time
