Sushi Chefs: We are looking to hire a sushi chef with good knife skills and the ability to stay focused and execute orders. Chefs will be required to make rolls and nigiri, with presentation & consistency being priority. Must know how to handle fish and be clean & organized throughout their shift. Sushi chef must adapt to our menu and follow instructions.
Line Cooks: Our menu is small and easy to learn. Duties include prepping, helping sushi chefs & at times, dishwashing. We are a tiny restaurant and cross train all of our employees. Line cook must be vocal and have good communication skills.
Assistant Servers: We’re looking for someone with a flexible schedule including weekend availability. Individual must have good energy as they will be the first face customers see. Multi-tasking is vital for this position; It will include bussing, answering the phone, greeting customers and delivering drinks. We are looking for fast learners, and background in sushi is a plus. Upon hiring, assistant will have 30 days to learn menu and take a test to participate in full tip-out and operate solely on their own. This includes learning and identifying fish and how they are seasoned.
Dishwashers: This position will also help in food preparations and will have room to move up.
