Our enterprise client,
a leader in the videogame and digital entertainment industry, is seeking an Interface Artist to join their team! This role is based in San Diego, CA. This is a 1-year W2 contract with the opportunity to extend or convert Benefits offered In this role, you will assist with the creation and design of our front-end user interfaces. The ideal candidate should be a highly skilled UI artist with experience in iconography, typography, and motion graphics. Responsibilities:- Create screen mocks that ensure all interactions are intuitive and easy for users to play
- Collaborate with designers, programmers, UX Designers, and the UI team to maintain a consistent style across the entire game
- Bounce between multiple tasks, projects, and requests while maintaining a consistent quality
- Find creative ways to solve problems within tech capabilities by using and creating art, logos, typography, and animation
- Possess a deep understanding of both visual communication and information hierarchy
- 2+ years of experience working with user interfaces, graphic design, and asset creation
- Strong knowledge of Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Iconography and typography skills
- Prior animation experience preferred
- Demonstrated experience of fundamental interface design principles, usability, and UI design best practices
- A passion for video games is a plus
