Medical diagnostics manufacturing company looking for a strong Cost Accountant to support their team!San Diego, CAQualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field3+ years of experience in cost accounting required5+ total years of experience in general accountingStrong month end close experienceAdvanced Excel experience requiredSAP experience preferredJob DescriptionAnalyzes and prepares reporting package for Manufacturing departmentAnalyzes product costing results and variances to standard costParticipates in the preparation of the annual budgets for Manufacturing departmentInterprets financial operating results and makes recommendations for cost reduction and profit improvementProvides reliable data and looks for ways to continually enhance the quality of the information provided and the responsiveness of the team to the changing needs of the businessThis role requires working closely with the supply chain to determine material costing, utilizing existing templates, and communicating back and forth to finalize material costsThe role involves handling a multitude of cost centers for all products, warehouses, and groups, and collecting data for final review by the managerAssist with month end process include preparing journal entries, research, and analysisPlease apply if interested!About Aston Carter: Aston Carter provides world-class corporate talent solutions to thousands of clients across the globe.
